Hopeless Romantic by Seth King

Release Date: 07.27.2016

Synopsis:

After losing his engagement to the woman he thought would be the great love of his life, twenty-three-year-old aspiring journalist Graham Herrera is in pieces. After four months, though, it becomes clear just how he can get his life back on track and reassemble his soul: write a book about his lost love and shed her bad blood forever. There’s just one problem: that would make him a “male romance author,” and according to society, men know nothing about romance, right?

Humorous and heartwarming, Seth King’s Hopeless Romantic is an inside look at what happens when you toss away the world’s judgments and decide to write your own future, one romance novel at a time.

Review:

I loved every truthful and honest word of this novella.

This debate about Male Authors and Romance is going on for a long time now and I really don't see where is a problem...as a Romance Reader I only care if a story is good and enjoyable.

Seth King succeeded to show in a few pages every kind of emotions and life lessons.I'm so glad he took the leap and published his first romance because this awful world needs more Hopeless Romantic like him.

I want to make a toast to many more beautiful masterpieces written by him in the future...Never Give Up!!!

"Once you loved someone irrevocably, that miles-deep kind of elegant wicked love, you would never fully unlove them again."

Review:

This was a light-hearted,entarteining and enjoyable story.

Karen Tomsovic succeeded once again to write a briliant story, with a good number of characters skillfully portrayed and easy to follow.

I've really liked Amanda's journey toward her happily ever after.
She had envisioned her future as an early retired actress and a stay at home wife and mother but maybe she is still on time to change her mind and finally follow her heart.

Review:

This was such an emotional ride, filled with two cute kids and a hot Navy SEAL.

I particularly liked the realistic way the author tells this story, without rushing it,following the steady development of events that brings our main characters to adapt to their new life.

The journey for Bella and Noah is not an easy one, fortunately they understand since the beginning to put aside their different opinions and disagreements in order to let the kids live in a loving and stable environment and to see each other under a new light.

Many layers build a person’s facade.

Look into the depths for what’s hidden within.

It’s more than water. It’s a story—a living and breathing substance beyond the reflective surface.

Review:

I didn't have read a College NA in a while and I've really enjoyed this one.

It was the first time I was reading something written by this author but her writing grabbed my attention since the beginning.
I've really appreciated how she showed the contrast between Foster's rationality and EJ's artistic view of life.

EJ and Foster have found a special place in my heart.I loved their funny bantering and wise chats and scorching hot sex.

"It sounds so silly, but part of me always hoped that I could turn into a mermaid and plunge into the depths of the sea forver."

Moore to Love by Faith Andrews

Release Date: 07.18.2016

Synopsis:

I used to imagine that life would be easier, more enjoyable, if I were tall, blond, and supermodel thin. But real life—like the average, every day woman—is full of curves and imperfections, and many opportunities to learn that it’s not the number on the scale that measures the capacity of your heart.

After years of struggling with poor self esteem and too many crash diets to count, I finally got wise—and hired a trainer. With an enthusiastic push from my brother’s fiancé and more motivation than a Joel Osteen sermon, I, Madeline “Leni” Moore, am ready to ditch the oh-woe-is-me act.

That is, until I smack head-on into a tree and collide with him. Lane Sheffield is the guy you drool over from afar. One look at him the first day on the runner’s track, and my panties are up in flames. He’s out of my league. Slim, sleek, and athletic to my plump, dull, and unfit. Lane has no reason to like me, but to my utter shock . . . he does and this newfound attention from the opposite sex has me all sorts of baffled.

What starts out as a healthy journey to lose some of the extra me, turns into a quest to find my true self. Will the need to fit in and finally have someone to call my own lead me to my weight loss goal or my happiness goal? I've focused so long on being skinny, what will it take for me to learn the ultimate lesson—that beauty is only skin deep?

Review:

Moore To Love is a great book.
It wasn't a dieting or exercising journal but a realistic and engaging journey of self-discovery and self-acceptance.

I was pleasantly surprised in the end by Leni's strength to face her flaws and her weaknesses without any second thoughts.

I've already read some of Faith Andrew's previous works and I'm a fan of her writing style but this was perfect,flowing,challenging,thought-provoking and entertaining.

Review:

I've enjoyed this debut novel and I hope to read more stories written by this author in the future.

The author delivered a very good story, hot, emotional and suspenseful, that keeps the readers on their toes throughout the book.
I was pleasantly surprised to see that the story takes place in Australia, precisely in Sydney.I really like to discover new places while reading.

Hannah and Daniel's journey is not too easy due to their own past histories that have left our heroine having trust issues and our hero with some nasty secrets and a pretty long line of one night stand, but their chemistry is undeniable since their first encounter.
I'm so glad I got to witness their growth as persons and as a couple page after page.

Review:

This was a solid 4 stars read but I added 1 more star for the cute "unexpected reality" and the beautiful cover.

I really really liked this story and I'm glad I started it as soon as it showed on my kindle.
I was a mess for the first 30% of the book...I felt my heart breaking page after page but my anxiety to know how the story was going to end made it that much harder to put it down.

I've appreciated how our hot and strong hero,Ridge, faces all the hurdles and the novelties his new life entail in order to be happy.

This is my first book by Kaylee Ryan but it won’t be my last.I already asked the author if the supporting characters will have their own books and she said I have to patiently wait.

She’s the only one who ever loved him—and the only one he can never have.

Jude lost everything one spring day when he crashed his car into an apple tree on the side of the road. A man is dead, and there's no way he can ever right that wrong. He’d steer clear of Colebury, Vermont forever if he could. But an ex-con in recovery for his drug addiction can’t find a job just anywhere.

For Sophie Haines, coming face to face with the man who broke her heart is gut-wrenching. Suddenly, he’s everywhere she turns. It’s hard not to stare at how much he’s changed. The bad boy who used to love her didn’t have big biceps and sun-kissed hair. And he’d never turn up volunteer in the church kitchen.

She knows it’s foolish to yearn for the man who returned all the heartsick letters she wrote him in prison. But the looks he sends her now speak volumes.

No one wants to see Sophie and Jude back together, least of all Sophie's police chief father. But it's a small town. And forbidden love is a law unto itself.

Review:

Despite the subject matter Steadfast was an uplifting book overall.
It was so good and amazingly written plus I love second chance love stories.

Jude's tough journey to find redemption, peace and happiness made me cry in a few parts but I've really appreciated his perseverance and resolution.
Sophie is a very good character, she doesn't leave the people she loves, she doesn't give up and she fights for the truth till the end.She gave me so much hope throughout the whole story.

I can't wait to read next book in this series because I'm sure it will be entirely different but equally good.

Review:

The Color of Us is the second book in the College Bound series and it is even better than the first one.
This story is so good that when I turned last page I was ready to start it again.

Laura Ward and Christine Manzari writing blended so well that the story flew effortlessly.

Alexis and Liam are two broken souls, they came from different worlds, who met at the right time healing each other.
They fought against nasty prejudices, darkness and loneliness to finally reach their happiness and to live a colorful life together.
