Review:

This is the story of a girl,Emerson, who stole my heart at the first page and she kept squeezing it chapter after chapter.

I won't retell the story to not ruin your experience but I recommend you to read it and I hope you will enjoy it as much as I did if you decide to start it.

Love My Way is my favorite book written by Kate Sterritt and it will be for sure one of my TOP reads for this year.
It is beautifully written, every word evokes so many different emotions and even if they hurt you cannot stop reading.
The characters are very well depicted and relatable, they feel so real that at the end you will think of them as your friends and you wish them to be happy and fly...

Release Date: 05.20.2017

Synopsis:

A kickass home décor boutique – tick
A sassy mouth and absolutely no filter – tick
A wall so strong no man could ever tear it down - tick, tick, tick!

Or so I thought.

Until I meet Detective Ben Hunt, the owner of exquisite blue eyes, a god-like physique and a seductive smirk that makes me weak at the knees. He charges into my life like a force of nature. No matter how hard I try to keep the walls up around my heart, he’s made it his mission to shatter them. I have no chance of resisting him, but I would make sure I won this tug of war.

Which was what I wanted.

Right? When did the idea of losing myself to him start to sound so good?

I wish Ben was the only battle I faced. There’s a reason this small town needs a good detective. One way or another I’m going to have to brace for impact, because no wall I build can stop the new threat thundering toward Monroe.

After all, secrets only stay a secret for so long around here.

Review:

I have seen all the author's struggles to deliver a satisfying story and I'm glad she finally set these characters free because All That I Am was a good and enjoyable read.

Sasha and Ben relationship is hot since their first encounter, there is never a dull moment in their lives. They are both bullheaded and strong willed,I loved their bantering and their romantic chatters.

I can't wait to read the next book in the series to meet again these characters and their varied group of friends.

A Girl Like Me by Ginger Scott

Release Date: 05.26.2017

Synopsis:

I’m not supposed to be here.

Death has come for me more than once, and each time it’s been a boy who’s stood between me and my final breath.

I called him Christopher when he saved me as a child. When he came into my life again, only months ago, I knew him as Wes. Just as he did the time before, he disappeared the moment he made sure I was out of harm’s way; as if I didn’t need any more saving.

This time, though, death left me with a reminder of how powerful it is. I know it meant to strip me of my spirit again, but it failed.

Even so, I know I need Wes to survive. Our souls are woven together somehow, our every breath in sync. I feel it, even though everyone says I shouldn’t.

The world thinks he’s missing.
His loved ones don’t want to believe he’s dead.
Only I know just how special he is.

I’m going to find him and bring him home, where he belongs. Together, we’ll face impossible—we’ll rewrite our ending.

And when the bad guys come calling, we will always win.

Review:

Wow the waiting was so worth it...A Girl Like Me is an amazing read.

Ginger Scott wrote a sequel as good and as engaging as the first book, the emotional roller-coaster that characterized A Boy Like You is still there and it kept me on my toes from the start to the very end.
Even if the author didn't explain some things I think that is not important because I focused my attention on the power of resilience, that is all human,of our heroine Joss.

I fell for Wes in the first book but I loved Joss in this one, I've really appreciated her growing since the beginning of this journey.
I hope to see these characters again in the future, in the meantime I'll keep them in my heart forever.

Excerpt:

“It’s creepy as shit in here. I think I was better off in that sewing room on the floor,” he says, scooting backward and propping himself up on his elbow. I lie down next to him in the same position, and he reaches up and tucks my hair behind my ear then lightly pinches my chin as he smiles at me.

“I don’t know what I was thinking with any of this,” I say, blinking once, my mouth a hard line to match my hardening heart.

Kyle squints at me, then rolls to his stomach folding his hands under his cheek resting his head sideways as he studies me.

“You were thinking that you’d just do this all yourself,” he says.

I roll my eyes and puff out a breath.
“Do what myself?”

Kyle’s body rises with his deep breath, and the smile fades from his eyes and mouth.

“Nobody’s really looking for him. They’ve all given up. But not you.” Kyle reaches toward me again, giving my chin the same pinch as before. He leaves his hand there and stares at me through dozens of breaths. “I believe you.”

I suck in my lip at those simple words. I’d told Kyle everything I could remember, about how Wes caught the rock, about how strong he was, how he never had more than a scratch or two, and how I got the mysterious texts. It sounded insane as I spoke the words to him, and he never responded out loud. He just listened.

And he drove. He drove me here.

“You think he’s alive?” My lips quake when I speak, and my eyes pool, so I smoosh my face against the cool sheets to hold it together.

Kyle brushes my tangled hair away from my face again, this time cupping my cheek.
“I do,” he says. “And we’re going to find him.”

I reach my hand up to cover his and whisper “Thank you.”

Sexy Motherpucker by Lili Valente

Release Date: 05.25.2017

Synopsis:

When the family dog trots in with my diaphragm in its mouth—in front of my date, his parents, and his adorable little girl—you would think I’d hit rock bottom.

WRONG.

Let’s back this up a sec…

Brendan Daniels is the sexiest man alive. The captain of the Badger’s NHL team is also clever, kind, funny, and was my good friend…until we cruised out of the friend zone one weekend with a red-hot fling. Come Monday morning, I wanted to keep riding the Big O train to happy town, but Brendan wanted someone who was “stepmom” material.

A.K.A, not me, apparently.

The problem? I’m crazy in love with him and his daughter. So when he asks me to be his pretend girlfriend for a long weekend with his former in-laws, I say yes. We’re still friends, after all, and friends don’t let friends fake it alone.

***

Laura Collins is the last woman I should be thinking about taking in the back seat of my car, in the woods behind my in-laws’ house, or in a hotel room where we’re sharing one very small, very squeaky bed.

I need a steady, stable influence for my daughter, not a fling with this too wild, too young, too impulsive red head. So what if she’s beautiful and intense and passionate and has the biggest heart I’ve ever known?

I don’t want to fall in love. I really don’t. The whole “pretend girlfriend” thing was supposed to solve my problems, buy me a little more time.

But when it comes to Laura?

Hell, maybe I’m just not cut out for faking it.

Review:

This was the first book written by Lili Valente that I've read and I've really liked her writing style and the nice plot with low drama and some hot sex scenes.
I'm so curious to read the other books in the series.

This story has everything I lately like into a book, friends to lovers + single parent of an amazing kid is a perfect recipe to make me swoon with every turn of page.
Brendan and Laura journey was not simple, both of them screwed up at some point but I've particularly appreciated how they are not scared to open their hearts to love even if they have a lot to lose.

Review:

Goaltending was the first book in the Seattle Sockeyes Hockey series I have read and if the others are as good as this one I have a lot of sports books to read.

This story has all my favorite tropes hockey player + single dad and I couldn't not to like and enjoy it and Jami Davenport writing made it really really special.
I got attached to every single character and I hope to read more about them in the future.

Brick journey kept my attention from beginning to end.He started as a selfish playboy and became a man page after page, redeeming himself with the help of a cute little girl and a lovely nanny.

Review:

I enoyed this book, while I was reading it I forgot everything else and lost myself in the lively village of Redwood Ridge.

Review:

Excess Baggage was a nice quick read.

I've appreciated the sunny lively atmosphere and the motley group of characters that make this story funny, intriguing and enjoyable.

Erica and Jack didn't have a good record for their past encounters but their attraction is still over the top.I was so curious to know if their future will be better now after 15 years I've read this story in a day.

Duke of Manhattan by Louise Bay

Release Date: 05.16.2017

Synopsis:

I was born into British aristocracy, but I’ve made my fortune in Manhattan. New York is now my kingdom.

Back in Britain my family are fighting over who’s the next Duke of Fairfax. The rules say it’s me--if I’m married. It’s not a trade-off worth making. I could never limit myself to just one woman.

Or so I thought until my world is turned upside down. Now, the only way I can save the empire I built is to inherit the title I’ve never wanted -- so I need a wife.

To take my mind off business I need a night that’s all pleasure. I need to bury myself in a stranger.

The skim of Scarlett King’s hair over my body as she bends over . . .

The scrape of her nails across my chest as she screams my name . . .

The bite of her teeth on my shoulder just as we both reach the edge . . .

It all helps me forget.

I just didn’t bargain on finding my one night stand across the boardroom table the next day.

She might be my latest conquest but I have a feeling Scarlett King might just conquer me.

**A sexy, standalone romance.**

Review:

I loved this story!

Scarlett and Ryder's journey is a whirlwind of emotions, hot sex and witty banters.I was glued to the pages from their first encounter to their arranged marriage, I was curious to know how it would end.

This couple is definitely one of my Louise Bay's favorite...maybe because our Brit Duke is an assertive dirty talker during sexy times and our heroine is so strong-willed and confident about her work.

Everything flow effortlessly thanks to the brilliant writing,I highly recommend this book.

Review:

This was a good and enjoyable read.

I've loved to see our heroine growth as a person and as a worker.
Magenta's journey from wild animal party to smart and dedicated PR kept my attention throughout the whole book...I won't unveil too much of the plot to not risk to ruin it to you all.

Rosa Temple made an excellent work, mixing up funny and thought provoking scenes, delivering an entertaining story.
